COVID Blues

Sitting here on a Thursday night looking forlornly at our camera bags. The ECHL just followed suit a few hours ago with the NHL and AHL by suspending the current season. While first and foremost our thoughts are with everyone directly affected by Coronavirus, we also can't help but feel a sense of loss of who knows how many games of this hockey season. Our batteries are charged, lenses cleaned, helmets ready, and instead we'll probably pull up an old Rangers game on the NHL app tomorrow night and hang out with our dogs instead of heading off to the Coliseum. In sixteen years of photographing hockey we've never seen anything even remotely like this. That alone makes this scary for all of us. Hopefully these precautions taken by the league will result in a much lower spread of this virus and we can get back to hockey and the rest of our lives sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, spend some time watching this slideshow of some of our favorite images from the 19-20 season so far, then head over to the galleries and use the coupon code STAYHEALTHY for 20% off any print, product, or digital download.

Best wishes from John, Kelly and Molly, and we hope to see everyone back on the ice soon!
