The camera cannot express the human soul.
The photographer can. |

These are the words that guide our vision. Your wedding is a unique event. We don't approach any two weddings in the same way. We never think of a wedding as 'just a wedding.' It is the crowning day in a relationship, one of only a handful of days that will be remembered for decades. Documenting that day is an awesome responsibility, and one that we do not take lightly. When we first began the business of wedding photography, we tried to style ourselves as 'wedding photojournalists,' which at the time was the newest and hippest trend in wedding photography. We quickly realized, though, that a pure wedding photojournalist misses some important photographs, just as a pure traditional wedding photographer misses many shots. Our style bridges the gap between photojournalism and tradition. If we had to label our style with a fancy buzzword, we'd call it wedding documentarianism (say that three times fast!). We are there to capture and document the day, pretty much from beginning to end. A pure photojournalist would consider it intrusive to pose the couple, even if there was a beautiful fountain to use as a backdrop. On the other hand a pure traditionalist might consider it job-done after the cake-cutting; that's when our work really warms up. In the end, we're just...us. We're very laid back and easy going, and we are very much what-you-see-is-what-you-get. We're professional about our photography, but relaxed and warm with 'our' couples. We simply tell the story of your day through our lens.
